Serving the purpose of institution of higher learning and developing Human Capital, S.K.M. University strives for creating facility to produce technically enabled experience manpower of good sensibility and sound sensitivity. This is done through regular workshop, Seminars Conferences and Guest Lectures. To have a community outreach the university not only supports N.S.S. and N.C.C. activities but also encourages both the students and faculty members to groom their personality. |
Under the XI Plan, the University has received grants for merged schemes and general development from the UGC. The University has already setup a career counseling cell for students and a separate cell for coaching and remedial classes for various competitive examinations for the S.C./S.T./O.B.C. /Minority students. In order to encourage improvement of their academic qualities, they are frequently allowed to participate in Seminar, Conferences and Workshops. The faculty members of the University are also encouraged to avail travel grants, publication grants and facilities for organizing academic seminars and conferences. |
